NEW: Music Calendar
Sponsored by Partners of Twain Harte, it is time to dress in your Red, White and Blue and make sure to bring your flag to wave. This is the day when we remember our military personnel; those who lost their lives in the line of duty. The day starts off with a small military parade who present the colors followed by a presentation and the changing of the flag. It is always a very moving ceremony and we encourage everyone to come out. The day continues with a hot dog feed at Eproson Park so don’t miss out on this special day. Come join the community of Twain Harte as we honor our fallen military veterans.

Influenced by many of the bands of their youth, including CSN, The Byrds, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, and Poco, The Sky Kings pay tribute the early California country/rock scene, while blending original material seamlessly into their show!
The original members of the The Sky Kings regularly toured Northern California, headlining shows and opening for such acts as Tim McGraw, Kenny Chesney, Alabama, Trisha Yearwood, Poco, Leanne Womack, Wynonna Judd, Merle Haggard and many, many more.
The Sky King’s big band show features four great lead vocalists, a horn section, pedal steel , and a world class rhythm section. And with the musical diversity of the members filling in the gaps with Steely Dan, Billy Joel, and John Hiatt, you’ll find that this is the perfect mix that will lift any audience to their feet!

Guitar slinger Richie Barron began his career as vocalist and guitarist with Junior Walker, toured with ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard and cut his blues teeth in clubs from Dallas to Chicago before moving to Marin County to record a CD with Buddy Miles (Electric Flag & Jimi Hendrix’s Band of Gypsies) and Michael Carabello (Santana Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer). His band is hard-hitting in the Oakland tradition with a horn section, powerful vocals and features Billy Noteman, one of the finest Blues Harmonica players in the world. Richie’s original jump blues songs have been featured on the nationally syndicated show House of Blues Radio as well as his interviews by Blues Brother, Elwood Blues (aka Dan Aykroyd).
